PECULIARITIES OF TRITICALE GRAIN PROCESSING FOR GRIT

Abstract
Peculiarities of triticale grain peeling to produce grit are described. It was shown that in order to increase the competitiveness of a new product – triticale grit, it is advisable to peel grain for 120 seconds, which corresponds to the shelling index of 9.0% with the initial moisture content of 14%, the index of 8.3% with the initial grain moisture of 13.0% and the index of 10.6% with the initial moisture content of 12.0%.
